ReplyDeleteOh! Alba was the name of my husband's great-grandfather! I've always thought the name was very odd. Then I recently learned that it's actually a Roman girl's name, the feminization of the male Albus. That made a LOT more sense. Some of the family that I shared this new info with was not the most receptive, as they had used the name for one of their sons. That was awkward : )
